<p>When you send reports from Money, the only data that the recipient can access is the data you choose to send.</p>

In each case, the recipient sees the report the way it appears on your screen when they open the e-mail message. When they click the report, nothing happens. <p>If you want the recipient to be able to put the data into a spreadsheet program like Microsoft Excel, you should send it with CSV or XML data. The only data that gets sent is the data you would see if you viewed the chart as a report. With this kind of information, the recipient can organize the data in various ways. In the above example, the recipient could import the data into a spreadsheet program, and then reorganize it <mdash/> by payee, by amount, or alphabetically. However, the recipient will not be able to see your accounts, account balances, or transaction details, unless these items appear in the report you send.</p>
<p>The only security concerns you should have when sending reports from your Money file are the same ones you'd have about sending e-mail messages of any kind. Look carefully at your email message before you send it. If, for example, you are sending a Net Worth report, you might want to check to make sure that your accounts have names like "Isabel's checking" and not "Woodgrove Bank 0015284895."</p>
<p>Another important point to remember is that nothing gets sent until you click <emph>Send</emph>. So even if you set up an e-mail message containing a report, you can change your mind before you send it.</p>
