  3. Q. Where was QuickField originated?

  5. A. The Students' QuickField was formerly known as ELCUT, and
  6.    QuickField is the name of the more powerful professional
  7.    version. Now we've decided to enhance this low-cost
  8.    shareware with a full set of features contained in the
  9.    professional QuickField. Now the only difference between
  10.    our Students' and professional versions is the mesh nodes
  11.    limit.

  20. Q. Does QuickField require Microsoft Windows?

  22. A. QuickField is supported by its own interface library, and
  23.    doesn't require Windows to run. However, it can be run
  24.    within Windows as a DOS application, and corresponding
  25.    files QFIELD.PIF and QFIELD.ICO are included into the
  26.    shareware kit.

  28. Q. What about the more powerful version you mention?

  30. A. Professional (several hundreds thousand of nodes) version
  31.    is available, but it is not shareware. It handles a very
  32.    dense mesh, which enables you to obtain accurate results
  33.    for sophisticated design models. All the other features
  34.    are the same as this Students' version. We are ready to
  35.    provide you with further details--just contact us by e-
  36.    mail, phone or fax. You may also order the one month
  37.    evaluation copy right now--see REG_FORM.TXT for details
  38.    (special license agreement is needed).

  44.    QuickField.
