  1. The files in this directory are called "runtime". These are files
  2. which contain common code which are required by some programs. By having
  3. the common code in a runtime module, individual programs can be made smaller.
  4.  
  5. You do not have to bother with these files unless a program says that it
  6. requires one of them. The program's documentation will normally tell you
  7. which runtime module is needed and where on your hard disk to put it.

  9. If a file has a .ZIP extension, install Winzip (found in the utilities
  10. directory on this disc) and then double click on the .zip extension.

  12. This will open the .zip archive from here you use the extract button.
  13. RUNTIMES directory Using WinZip:
  14.                        \VBDRT10E.ZIP C:\WINDOWS
  15. assuming C:\WINDOWS is your Windows directory on your hard disk.

  17. If a file does not have a .ZIP extension, such as VBRUN300.DLL, 
  18. copy the file to the followinh directory:
  19.                          COPY VBRUN300.DLL C:\WINDOWS
