- Documentation for TubeFinder 2.0
- --------------------------------
- Based on public domain tube database and search algorithm of Russ Heath.
- Not *guaranteed* to find the quickest route, but it *will* get you there!
-
- This version released into the public domain. v2.0 is v1.0 plus some extra
- work done by Jan Willem Ruys, who seems quite keen to carry on and develop
- it further. Mail him on jr@dnmail.gen.getronics.nl
-
- Installation:
- ==============
- Put the TUBE.OPA file in any \APP directory and install using Psion-I.
- Make a TUBE subdirectory from the same \APP directory (i.e. \APP\TUBE)
- and put the TUBE.DAT file in there, i.e. \APP\TUBE\TUBE.DAT
- Put the TUBE.DBF and TUBE.PIC files into an \OPD\ directory on the same drive.

- -------------------------
- From Jan:
- I found your 'TubeFinder' on our local Psion BBS, and this is the sort of
- application which shows the strength of the Psion computer in the field.
-
- Using 'RevTran' I de-compiled it and brushed up the user-interface a bit
- to look more like other Psion programs. I also included an option to set
- default departure and arrival stations, by modifying the .dbf file which
- is located in M:\OPD (the fields speak for themselves). If this database
- is not found, defaulting is skipped.
-
- Also, on my 1993 London Underground map, the colors of the lines are a
- bit different (Jubilee & Picadilly). I changed this.
