  1.                         Licence and Limited Warranty

  3.    This file explains when and how you may use both shareware and registered 
  4.    copies of MorphBar.
  5.    
  6.    This is a legal agreement which allows you, the end user, to use MorphBar 
  7.    under certain terms and conditions.  If you cannot agree to abide by what 
  8.    this agreement says you should not use or evaluate MorphBar.
  9.  
  10.    MorphBar is fully protected by copyright under U.K. law and international 
  11.    treaty provisions.
  12.  
  13.    MorphBar is shareware when unregistered. When used with a valid 
  14.    registration code it is NOT shareware. Therefore you agree not to pass 
  15.    your registration code to others.
  16.    
  17.    You may use an unregistered copy of MorphBar for an evaluation period of up
  18.    to 31 days, in order to determine whether the program meets your needs 
  19.    before purchasing a registration.  Once the evaluation period ends, you 
  20.    agree to either purchase a registration, or to stop using it.  If you have 
  21.    ordered a registration from us, you may continue to use your unregistered 
  22.    copy until your registration arrives.

  24.    While you are evaluating MorphBar, you may use it on as many computers as 
  25.    are required to perform your evaluation. Your 31-day evaluation period 
  26.    begins when you first install MorphBar on one or more computers for 
  27.    evaluation purposes. Once the evaluation period is over and you purchase a 
  28.    registration, your use is subject to the following restrictions:

  30.        You agree not to use any individual registration of MorphBar on more 
  31.        than one computer at a time. You may install an individual registration
  32.        copy simultaneously on one computer at work, one computer at home, and 
  33.        one portable computer, if all these computers are used primarily by the
  34.        same individual, and there is no possibility that the computers will be
  35.        in use at the same time except while you are actively transferring 
  36.        files between them.

  38.        If you purchased a multi-system license for MorphBar you agree
  39.        not to install or use it on more computers than the number included in
  40.        your license, or other documents from us.
  41.  
  42.    You may make copies of your MorphBar to give to others, as long as you 
  43.    include all of the files that you originally received with your shareware 
  44.    copy and as long as you do not pass on your registration code.  When you 
  45.    give a shareware copy of MorphBar to another person, you agree to inform 
  46.    them that their copy is to be used for a time limited evaluation period, 
  47.    and that they must purchase a registration if they continue to use 
  48.    MorphBar once the evaluation period has ended.  You agree not to sell 
  49.    shareware copies of MorphBar or distribute them to others for any kind of 
  50.    compensation or fee unless you abide by the restrictions in the 
  51.    VENDOR.TXT file.

  53.    LIMITED WARRANTY:  The following limited warranty applies to registered 
  54.    copies of MorphBar.  It is included here so you understand what your 
  55.    warranty will be when you purchase a registration.  This warranty does 
  56.    NOT apply to shareware copies of MorphBar.
  57.  
  58.       We don't promise that MorphBar will be free of bugs or program errors.
  59.       If you report a program error or bug to us, we will use our best efforts
  60.       to correct it.  If we issue a maintenance release for MorphBar which 
  61.       includes a correction for an error you reported, we will send you a copy
  62.       of that maintenance release at no charge if you request it.  We will 
  63.       only do this for maintenance releases, not for new major releases or 
  64.       other new versions of MorphBar. Note however, that the initial Windows 
  65.       3.x release of MorphBar includes a free upgrade to the Windows 95 
  66.       version.

  69.       LICENSE FOR YOUR SHAREWARE COPY OF THE PROGRAM.  ACCORDINGLY THE
  70.       SHAREWARE COPY IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
