Sorry. If you do the arithmetic here, which you don’t really have to, you’ll see that this doesn’t work. Why don’t you really have to do the arithmetic? Because this is actually just one of the special quadratic equations you learned about, only with numbers instead of variables. Click on Special Quadratic Equations to review, and then try again.
