This one was a little tricky. Since Manny has half the marbles of Juanita, he has fewer marbles, which immediately eliminates (C) and (B)–both of which give the same expression, incidentally. The reason (A) works is that “2 times Manny equals Juanita” is just another way of saying “half of Juanita equals Manny.” For instance, two times two is four is the same numerical relationship as one half of four equals two.
