  1. END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR MICROSOFT SOFTWARE

  3. IMPORTANT-READ CAREFULLY: This Microsoft End-User License 
  4. Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either an 
  5. individual or a single entity) and Microsoft Corporation for the 
  6. Microsoft software product identified above, which includes 
  7. computer software and may include associated media, printed 
  8. materials, and "online" or electronic documentation ("SOFTWARE 
  9. PRODUCT"). By installing, copying, or otherwise using the SOFTWARE 
  10. PRODUCT, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you 
  11. do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not install or use the 
  12. SOFTWARE PRODUCT; you may, however, return it to your place of 
  13. purchase for a full refund.

  15. Software PRODUCT LICENSE
  16. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and 
  17. international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual 
  18. property laws and treaties. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed, not 
  19. sold.
  20. 1.   GRANT OF LICENSE. This EULA grants you the following rights:
  21. *    Applications Software. You may install and use one copy of 
  22. the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, or any prior version for the same operating 
  23. system, on a single computer. The primary user of the computer on 
  24. which the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is installed may make a second copy for 
  25. his or her exclusive use on a portable computer.
  26. *    Storage/Network Use. You may also store or install a copy of 
  27. the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on a storage device, such as a network 
  28. server, used only to install or run the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on your 
  29. other computers over an internal network; however, you must 
  30. acquire and dedicate a license for each separate computer on which 
  31. the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is installed or run from the storage device. 
  32. A license for the SOFTWARE PRODUCT may not be shared or used 
  33. concurrently on different computers.
  34. *    License Pak. If you have acquired this EULA in a Microsoft 
  35. License Pak, you may make the number of additional copies of the 
  36. computer software portion of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT authorized on 
  37. the printed copy of this EULA, and you may use each copy in the 
  38. manner specified above. You are also entitled to make a 
  39. corresponding number of secondary copies for portable computer use 
  40. as specified above.
  41. 2.   DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS. 
  42. *    Academic Edition Software. If the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is 
  43. identified as "Academic Edition" or "AE," you must be a "Qualified 
  44. Educational User" to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. If you are not a 
  45. Qualified Educational User, you have no rights under this EULA. To 
  46. determine if you are a Qualified Educational User, please contact 
  47. the Microsoft Sales Information Center/One Microsoft Way/Redmond, 
  48. WA 98052-6399 or the Microsoft subsidiary serving your country.
  49. *    Not for Resale Software. If the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is labeled 
  50. "Not for Resale" or "NFR," then, notwithstanding other sections of 
  51. this EULA, you may not resell, or otherwise transfer for value, 
  52. the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
  53. *    Limitations on Reverse Engineering, Decompilation, and 
  54. Disassembly. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or 
  55. disassemble the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, except and only to the extent 
  56. that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law 
  57. notwithstanding this limitation.
  58. *    Separation of Components. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed as 
  59. a single product. Its component parts may not be separated for use 
  60. on more than one computer.
  61. *    Rental. You may not rent, lease, or lend the SOFTWARE 
  62. PRODUCT. 
  63. *    Support Services. Microsoft may provide you with support 
  64. services related to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT ("Support Services"). Use 
  65. of Support Services is governed by the Microsoft policies and 
  66. programs described in the user manual, in "online" documentation, 
  67. and/or in other Microsoft-provided materials. Any supplemental 
  68. software code provided to you as part of the Support Services 
  69. shall be considered part of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and subject to 
  70. the terms and conditions of this EULA. With respect to technical 
  71. information you provide to Microsoft as part of the Support 
  72. Services, Microsoft may use such information for its business 
  73. purposes, including for product support and development. Microsoft 
  74. will not utilize such technical information in a form that 
  75. personally identifies you.
  76. *    Software Transfer. You may permanently transfer all of your 
  77. rights under this EULA, provided you retain no copies, you 
  78. transfer all of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT (including all component 
  79. parts, the media and printed materials, any upgrades, this EULA, 
  80. and, if applicable, the Certificate of Authenticity), and the 
  81. recipient agrees to the terms of this EULA. If the SOFTWARE 
  82. PRODUCT is an upgrade, any transfer must include all prior 
  83. versions of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
  84. *    Termination. Without prejudice to any other rights, Microsoft 
  85. may terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with the terms and 
  86. conditions of this EULA. In such event, you must destroy all 
  87. copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and all of its component parts.
  88. 3.   UPGRADES. If the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is labeled as an upgrade, 
  89. you must be properly licensed to use a product identified by 
  90. Microsoft as being eligible for the upgrade in order to use the 
  91. SOFTWARE PRODUCT. A SOFTWARE PRODUCT labeled as an upgrade 
  92. replaces and/or supplements the product that formed the basis for 
  93. your eligibility for the upgrade. You may use the resulting 
  94. upgraded product only in accordance with the terms of this EULA. 
  95. If the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is an upgrade of a component of a package 
  96. of software programs that you licensed as a single product, the 
  97. SOFTWARE PRODUCT may be used and transferred only as part of that 
  98. single product package and may not be separated for use on more 
  99. than one computer.
  100. 4.   COPYRIGHT. All title and copyrights in and to the SOFTWARE 
  101. PRODUCT (including but not limited to any images, photographs, 
  102. animations, video, audio, music, text, and "applets" incorporated 
  103. into the SOFTWARE PRODUCT), the accompanying printed materials, 
  104. and any copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT are owned by Microsoft or 
  105. its suppliers. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws 
  106. and international treaty provisions. Therefore, you must treat the 
  107. SOFTWARE PRODUCT like any other copyrighted material except that 
  108. you may install the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on a single computer provided 
  109. you keep the original solely for backup or archival purposes. You 
  110. may not copy the printed materials accompanying the SOFTWARE 
  111. PRODUCT.
  112. 5.   DUAL-MEDIA SOFTWARE. You may receive the SOFTWARE PRODUCT in 
  113. more than one medium. Regardless of the type or size of medium you 
  114. receive, you may use only one medium that is appropriate for your 
  115. single computer. You may not use or install the other medium on 
  116. another computer. You may not loan, rent, lease, or otherwise 
  117. transfer the other medium to another user, except as part of the 
  118. permanent transfer (as provided above) of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
  119. for the limited warranties and special provisions pertaining to 
  120. your particular jurisdiction, please refer to your warranty 
  121. booklet included with the software product.
