  39. 1) INSTALLATION
  40. ===============

  42. Turn on your Revo, press the System icon (bottom left of the
  43. screen), press the Menu key, under 'Tools' select 'Preferences',
  44. make sure that there is a tick next to 'show system folder' and click
  45. on 'OK'.
  46.  
  47. Go into C:\System\Apps\
  48.  
  49. From the menu, under 'File' select 'Make new folder' name it Psi-Jong.

  51. For a full installation...

  53. Copy all the files except README.TXT into this directory, which will be...

  55. C:\System\Apps\Psi-Jong\

  58. I strongly recomend that you do a full install, but, if you wish to
  59. save space, the only files you need to copy are as follows...

  77. If you wish to add extra tilesets, copy some or all of the other files ending
  78. with .TLS.

  80. If you wish to include sounds, copy some or all of the the files that are named
  81. with just 2 characters.

  83. If you wish to include background pictures, copy copy some or all of the files
  84. ending with .BGP

  90. Pressing the 'Extras' button (bottom right of screen) will now reveal
  91. this programs icon, select it to begin.
  92.  
  93. If the program does not run, rename its folder to a different name, wait
  94. a few seconds, then rename it back to its correct name and try again.
  95.  
  96. If you have difficulty with installation, re-read and follow carefully
  97. the above instructions, you have probably put the files in the wrong place,
  98. or named the folder incorectly. See the troubleshooting section below.

  100. If you have named the folder correctly, but the Psi-Jong icon does not appear
  101. on the Extra's Bar, rename the Psi-Jong folder to a different name, wait a
  102. few seconds, then rename it to Psi-Jong again. The icon should now appear.

  109. Install as above, overwriting existing files.

  111. If want to keep your existing game records, do not copy the files begining
  112. with SH-DONE.

  116. 3) TROUBESHOOTING

  119. If you have a problem, check that your batteries are not low, and that there is
  120. plenty of memory available to the program. Sometimes the Revo fails to play
  121. sounds when batteries are becoming low, but are not quite low enough for the
  122. Revo to report them as low. If in doubt, charge the batteries.

  124. Check that you have followed the installation instructions correctly.

  131. the problem in as much detail as possible, stateing what machine you are running
  132. the program on, what version you are running, what files have been put where, at
  133. what point in the programs execution the error happened, and what error messages
  134. were given.

  143. Full instructions are included in the program, just select 'How to play' from the
  144. Menu.

  150. Full instructions on how to register and details of cost are given within the
  151. program, just select 'How to Register' from the menu, you will be asked a few
  152. questions to determine which method of registration best suites you, followed
  153. by full instructions to, and cost of the method of registration selected.

  159. When you register you will receive a code that will enable this program to be
  160. used with your Revo. The code is linked to the Unique ID of your Revo,
  161. if for any reason a replacment code is required, one will be supplied free of
  162. charge. If you requre further codes for any reason (including changes in your
  163. Revo's Unique ID due to repair, or to replace a lost code), you will need
  164. to register for the new Unique ID. You will recieve a new code, and again be
  165. entitled to a replacement code if needed.

  167. The above policy is necessary to minimise piracy, and to keep the amount of time
  168. spent dealing with each registration to an acceptable level, which in turn,
  169. enables me to keep the cost of registration low.

  172. so that I can continue making more programs for your enjoyment.
