  5. The first true 3D Psion Golf Simulation with 360 degree rotatable view,

  24. INSTALLATION
  25. ============

  27. The minimum installation is 333k, the maximum installation is 535k.
  28.  
  29. Turn on your Series 5, press the System icon (bottom left of the screen),
  30. press the Menu key, under 'Tools' select 'Preferences', make sure that there is
  31. a tick next to 'show system folder' and click on 'OK'.
  32.  
  33. Go into either C:\System\Apps\ or D:\System\Apps\
  34.  
  35. From the menu, under 'File' select 'Make new folder' name it 'Golf-Pro'.
  36.  
  37. Copy all the files except README.TXT into this directory.
  38.  
  39. If you wish to save space, you may omit some or all of the sound files, but I
  40. recomend trying the game with the sounds as they make it more fun.
  41.  
  42. Pressing the 'Extras' button (bottom right of screen) will now reveal
  43. this programs icon, select it to begin.
  44.  
  45. If Golf-Pro does not run, try renaming its folder to a different name,
  46. wait a few seconds and then rename it back to the correct name.

  48. If you have difficulty with installation, re-read and follow carefully
  49. the above instructions, you have probably put the files in the wrong place,
  50. or named the folder incorectly.

  54. Upgrading from an earlier version
  55. =================================

  57. Follow the installation instructions above, overwriting the existing files
  58. on you Series 5. Do not copy the file 'Brighton.CRS' if you want to keep
  59. your course records.

  63. TROUBLESHOOTING
  64. ===============

  66. If you have a problem, check that your batteries are not low, and that there is
  67. plenty of memory available to the program. Sometimes the Series 5 fails to play
  68. sounds when batteries are becoming low, but are not quite low enough for the
  69. Series 5 to report them as low. If in doubt, change the batteries.

  71. Check that you have followed the installation instructions correctly.

  80. put where, at what point in the programs execution the error happened, and what

  90. Full instructions are included in the program, just select 'How to play' from
  91. the menu.

  97. Full instructions on how to register and details of cost are given within the
  98. program, just select 'Register' from the menu, you will be given a choice of
  99. registration methods and their prices, followed by full instructions to the
  100. method of registration selected.

  106. When you register you will receive a code that will enable this program to be
  107. used with your Series 5. The code is linked to the Unique ID of your Series 5,
  108. if for any reason a replacment code is required, one will be supplied free of
  109. charge. If you require further codes for any reason (including changes in your
  110. Series 5's Unique ID due to repair, or to replace a lost code), you will need
  111. to register for the new Unique ID. You will recieve a new code, and again be
  112. entitled to a replacement code if needed.

  114. The above policy is necessary to minimise piracy, and to keep the amount of time
  115. spent dealing with each registration to an acceptable level, which in turn,
  116. enables me to keep the cost of registration low.
