period starts. Each players must either 'pass', 'open' (make a bet), or 'fold' (drop out of the hand). If all players pass the players must put in another ante and new
cards are dealt.
Once a player has opened
subsequent players must a either 'call' (equal the bet), or 'raise' (equal and increase the bet) or 'fold'. A player may not raise if he was the last person to raise. Betting, raising, folding continuese until remaining players have all bet the same. If only one player is left he wins the pot.
With more than one player left, each player in turn hasa the opportunity to exchange some of his cards to improve his hand. Refer to the "Hands" item on the
Tools menu. In Auto Select mode the computer will suggest and mark cards for
exchange. Select up to three
cards using arrow keys or pen, deselect a card first, if you change your mind. Press enter or touch the hand when finished.
After the players have exchanged cards, the
person who made the original opening bet must
either pass or open. If all remaining players pass the original opener must then either open or fold. This continues until either a player opens or the only player remaining wins the pot. When more the one player enters the betting they continue to either call, raise or fold until all bets are equalled or only one winning player is left. As in the first part of the game, a player may not raise if he was the last person to do so.
Taz is playing for the first
time, he wants to impress
Cecilia, so will probably lose
badly.
Cecilia only came because she didn't believe Taz was going to an all night poker
game.
Jet is feeling hot, and when he feels hot he's really hot. Yo!
