  8. Moon  is a small  and  handy  application  that displays  the  current
  9. phase of the  Moon.  It  also  tells you when is the next event coming
  10. and what is it,  as well as the date of the next New Moon.  It doesn't
  11. use much memory,  so you can leave it running  all  the  time.  If you
  12. want, it pops up whenever you switch on the machine. To hide it  again
  13. just click elsewhere on the background, click on an application button
  14. or press "h".  You  can specify  where you want it on the screen,  and
  15. also if you want to have a blank background or not, and you can choose
  16. between 3 date formats.  (Hidden thing:  to see an  animation  of  all
  17. phases click on the About button in the toolbar). :-)

  19. To keep it fast and small Moon doesn't  calculate the age of the moon.
  20. Instead,  it comes with a small database  file for each year.  You can
  21. leave this databases in the Moon folder, and delete the old one when a
  22. new year is coming. If you click on the top button of the toolbar Moon
  23. will  display  you  the  database of the whole year, so you can locate
  24. e.g. all Full Moons easily.

  30.     1) Make sure you can see the "System" folder (see "Preferences"
  31.        from the System shell)
  32.  
  33.     2) Create the folder of \SYSTEM\APPS\MOON (on either C: or D:)
  34.  
  35.     3) Copy (using PsiWin 2.0 or another method) all the files except
  36.        of this manual into this new folder.

  38.     4) You're now ready to run Moon. It's icon should appear on the
  39.        Extras bar, so just click it!

  45.     Moon is FREEWARE! I made it for fun, and also because of a software
  46.     request by Tom Trevorrow that I found on the Total S5! site. If you
  47.     like it, please also try my other programs, Encrypt-it! and Statistics.
