BList Note
List Notes can be used as a simple list of things to do. Each item in a list note is called a 'Task' in this help file.
When a List Note is created it is empty. To add a task to it just press any letter on the keyboard. Type in the task and then press enter. You can then type in another task, and press enter again to show you have finished typing for that task.
You can change the font using the Format menu item. You can also open the format options by pressing the button on the top left of the note.

CNotes
Notes are 'windows' which appear on the screen. They can be moved around and resized. There are three different types of notes which are discussed later. To create a note simply tap on the 'New' toolbar button. You can also use the menu to create a new note.
Each note has an icon in the top-left which shows the type of note. The 'Title bar' along the top of the note shows the name of the note, and allows you to move the note around the screen by dragging with the pointer.
There are also two buttons on the top-right of the note:
The full-screen button can be used to temporarily make the note a full-screen note, then to resize it back to its previous state. You can also resize a note by dragging the pointer starting in the square at the bottom-right of the note.
The close button closes the note to free up screen space. You can open notes again using the 'Note' toolbar button.
You can cycle through the open notes by pressing Shift-Tab.
KBPreferences
You can change the following settings with the Preferences menu option:
1) Hotkey. Changes the hotkey which can be used to bring NotePlan to the front if you were working in another program.
2) Confirm list item delete. If this item is ticked you will be asked for confirmation each time you delete an item from a list note.
3) Make application sticky. If you choose this option NotePlan will stick to the front of the screen even if you open another application. You can hide NotePlan once it has 'stuck' by tapping in a note and choosing 'Hide' from the Toolbar or menu.
