  14. Welcome to Easy Note, the original scribble pad application for
  15. the EPOC range of palmtop computers. Easy Note allows you to take
  16. short text or voice notes, without having to create whole word
  17. documents for a quick scribble. You will quickly find Easy Note
  18. to be one of the most used applications on your extra's bar !

  21. This text file will give you the information that you need to
  22. install Desktop onto your palmtop, and how to get started.

  24. There now follows instructions on either installing Easy Note for the first
  25. time or upgrading from version 1.3 or earlier. Choose the instructions which
  26. apply to you ...

  29. Installing Easy Note
  30. ====================

  32. 1)    Turn on your Series 5, press the System button, press the Menu key,
  33.     under 'Tools' select 'Preferences', make sure that the 'show system
  34.     folderÆ option is 'OK'. This will make the System folder visible on
  35.     your Psion.

  37. 2)    Create a new folder called \SYSTEM\APPS\EasyNote on either drive.
  38.  
  39. 3)    Copy all the files from the ZIP file into this new folder,
  40.     except ...
  41.  
  42. 4)    Place the ps.opo and ps.mbm files in the C:\SYSTEM\OPL\ folder,
  43.     if you do not already have them.
  44.  
  45. 5)    The Easy Note .zip file includes a small upgrade.opo file. You do
  46.     not need this UNLESS you are upgrading from Easy Note v1.3 or earlier.

  49. Upgrading from Easy Note v1.3 or earlier

  52. 1)    Turn on your Series 5, press the System button, press the Menu key,

  75. Easy Note has been designed to be very easy to use, and you should be able
  76. to find your way around quite quickly, however comprehensive online help
  77. is available by tapping the help button. If you have any other questions
