  1. OEDIPUS 1.0

  4. Oedipus is a program for crossword puzzle fans.  Crosswords can either
  5. be downloaded from the Internet or typed in directly from other sources
  6. such as newspapers.  With Oedipus on your Psion you can have a whole
  7. library of crosswords at your fingertips.

  9.  
  10. INSTALLATION
  11. ============

  13. Oedipus is installed using standard SIS files.  This requires PsiWin
  14. 2.1 or above.
  15.  
  16. You must install both Oedipus.SIS and Spell.SIS - the latter is the
  17. spellcheck link from RMRSoft.  To install these, either double click
  18. on the file in Windows Explorer or transfer the files to your Psion
  19. and use Add/remove from the control panel.
  20.  
  21. As part of the installation you can choose to install a sample crossword
  22. (OEDsample.oed) and/or the associated sample Import file (OEDsample.xbw).
  23. If you install these they will be copied into c:\general.

  25. Don't forget to install *both* oedipus.SIS *and* spell.SIS!

  28. REGISTRATION
  29. ============

  31. Oedipus is shareware; if you wish to continue using it you *must* register.
  32. Registration costs GBP10 or USD20 - see the Help file for more details.
  33. The unregistered version will only save the top half of a crossword!

  36. KNOWN LIMITATIONS

  39. - Maximum crossword size is 15x15
  40. - Import is "delicate".  Any unexpected data will cause it to fail with
  41. an unhelpful message.
