DeVender - The classic arcade game Defender, for EPOC
Welcome to my classic 'Defender' arcade game for the EPOC Series of palmtop computers.
As it stands, this Shareware version is limited such that your game ends when the end of attack wave two is reached.
Please note that registration does not involve reloading the program, but simply selecting the 'Register deVender' menu option and typing in a registration code to release the 'lock'.
FILE DETAILS
------------
The archive file should contain the following files:
deVend.sis The program
deVREAD.txt English Instructions
Once installed you will see the program consists of the following essential files: (all in \System\Apps\deVender\)
deVender.app - The main program file
deVender.aif - The icons used in the System screen
deVender.rsc - The program's resource file
deVbits - The program's bitmaps
And the following optional files which have been installed and may be deleted later if space is at a premium:
deVhelp.hlp - Help File
Dman.snd - Sound of man dying
Mutate.snd - Sound of lander mutating
Xman.snd - Sound of extra man claxon
If you must, you can also delete
MHelp.snd - Squeal of man being picked up
although if you do so, the game will be significantly harder to play.
INSTALLATION
------------
To install the program simply double-click on the deVend.sis file or select the "Install New Program" option in PsiWin/EPOC Install.
RUNNING THE PROGRAM
-------------------
Start the program by selecting 'Extras' from the Application bar and then selecting 'deVender'.
REGISTRATION
This is shareware that took a great deal of time to develop, so if you keep it then please register. Once registered, you will be able to play attack wave three onwards, and the adrenaline really starts to flow...
REGISTERING DEVENDER AS PART OF THE EPOC ARCADE PACK
The EPOC Arcade Pack (http://i.am/EpocArcade) consists of two great arcade games on your Psion: MiS5ile Defense and DeVender - for one low registration fee.
Registration of the Pack costs $29.95 and is by credit card only from RegNet.

Fill in RegNet's web form, and within two days the authors of deVender and MiS5ile defence will each send you a personalised registration code by email. Feed those personalised codes to deVender and MiS5ile Defence - your games pack will then be registered, and behave accordingly!

Note: you cannot register the EPOC Arcade Pack by any means other than a credit card payment via RegNet.
REGISTERING DEVENDER ALONE
If you wish to register your copy of deVender, which will then give you full access to the program, and no nag screen, the cost is ú10 as a UK cheque or UK cash, or $20 by credit card.
