  8. ------------
  9. This program, Shareware version 1.50 for the Series 5, GeoFox, Osaris, 
  10. Series 5mx, Revo, Series 7 and NetBook.
  11.  
  12. This is designed to be the untimate card game program for EPOC machines.
  13. The Pack Of Cards In Your Hand!  What makes it so is its impressive list
  14. of features:
  15. - Seven card games in one place: Spider, Montana, Solitare, FreeCell, Pyramid,
  16.   Armistice and TriPeaks;
  17. - Full colour support for the Series 7, NetBook and any future Colour Devices;
  18. - Full support for the larger Series 7 & NetBook screens;
  19. - Full support for the smaller Revo and Osaris screens;
  20. - Full Scroll bar support for when cards do 'off' the bottom of the screen;
  21. - Full pen and keyboard control;
  22. - Full card animation;
  23. - Sound;
  24. - Full Game save feature (Registered users only);
  25. - User selectable animation speed and animated dealing (Registered users only);
  26. - Switch between Tap and drag card selection modes (Registered users only);
  27. - User selectable front screen picture, background colour (ER5 and later) and
  28.   Card backs;
  29. - Multiple card layouts giving instant access to more then one game from the
  30.   front screen;

  32. - The program is still evolving!  This is your chance to influence the direction

  37. Release 1.5
  38. 1)  Added seventh game, Armistice, to the list.
  39. 2)  Added Osaris compatability.
  40. 3)  Added Save and load game feature.
  41. 4)  Added automated card removal for Solitaire.
  42. 5)  Added Sound.
  43. 6)  Added additional title screen graphic.
  44. 7)  Added tap selection for card movement.
  45. 8)  Added two more pack back designs.
  46. 9)  Improved Game control on TriPeaks.
  47. 10) Double tap on front screen now runs game.
  48. 11) Black & White files now installed on 5mx, saves battery life and disk space.
  49. 12) Fixed some minor bugs.

  51. Release 1.4 icon displays correctly on the Series 5.  Automated the selection of the
  52. Graphics file at installaton.  Updated the Undo toolbar button to be in colour.
  53. Updated the card backs. Corrected problem with forign date formats.

  55. Release 1.3 is now fully compatable with the Revo, Series 7 and NetBook.
  56.  
  57. Release 1.2 now handles EPOC32 operating system release 1.0. FreeCell added.

  59. Release 1.1 minor update, correcting a few bugs.

  61. Release 1.0 first release included: Spider, Montana, Solitaire Pyramid & TriPeaks.

  63. Future Releases
  64. ---------------
  65. There are no particular order or time scale for future releases but this will
  66. give you some idea of what to expect in the near future.
  67. - Full card movement animation on FreeCell.
  68. - Multiple player statistis records.
  69. - Support for the Symbian Quartz device (Palm Style) format.

  71. Future enhancement that may become a reality.
  72. - Additional card Layouts that can be included if desired.
  73. - The ability to tailor the front screen to give access to your favorite
  74.   seven card games.
  75. - Card games will be modula to allow for reduced main program size and runtime
  76.   memory usage; ease of distribution and installation of new card layouts.

  82. The zip file should contain the following files:

  84.     READMEpsicards.txt (this file)
  85.     PsiCards.SIS (instalation file for PsiCards)

  88. INSTALLATION
  89. ------------
  90. To install the program simply double-click PsiCards.sis file to install all the
  91. required files.  Or use the "Install New Program" option in PSIWIN (EPOC Install).
  92. If you have the latest PSIWIN or EPOC Install then everything will happen
  93. automatically.  If you don't have these then you need to get the installation file
  94. SETUP.EXE, which can be downloaded from Pocket IQ's Home Page or from www.psion.com.

  96. You can also copy the SIS files directly to your Psion 5, 5mx, Revo, Osaris, GeoFox
  97. Series 7 or NetBook and double select them to launch the install program.
  98.  
  99. This will install the program and also install the PIQinfo.SIS file for the
  100. essential Pocket IQ common files and the  SYSRAM1.SIS file to install the essential
  101. system files.
  102.  
  103. The graphics file for either Black & White (Series 5 and 5mx, colour (Series 7 and
  104. Netbook), Revo or Osaris will be installed, if you wish to use PsiCards on a
  105. different machine type you will have to re-install to get the correct graphics.

  107. Please note, that if you try to run the game in a machine that requires different
  108. graphics then when you run PsiCards you will see an error message telling you that
  109. program files are missing: Please re-install.

  112. RUNNING THE PROGRAM
  113. -------------------
  114. Start the program by selecting the 'Extras' from the Application bar and then
  115. 'PsiCards'.
  116.  
  117. You are now ready to play!

  119. Full On-line help is provided and can be accessed from the Help menu.

  124. there are no bugs, however,  Pocket IQ nor the author can accept any
  125. responsibility for any loss or damage caused by the use or miss use of this

  132. FreeCell and Armistice after 30 days and remove the Nag screens, you can register
