Welcome to my Extended ToDo Manager for the EPOC Series of handheld computers.
As it stands, this Shareware version is fully-working with no disabled functions, but will allow only a limited number of entries, to enable you to try the program out. Please note that registration does not involve reloading the program, but simply selecting the'Register' menu option and typing in a registration code to release the 'lock'.

INSTALLATION/UPGRADING
To install or upgrade the program simply double-click on the RMRTask.sis file or select the "Install New Program" option in PSIWIN (EPOC Install).
Note that there have been a few cases of the program failing to
upgrade data files from previous versions. This often happens if the data files are stored on a slow Compact Flash card, Therefore it is a good idea always to take a backup before upgrading (true for any program of course). If it fails to upgrade your files simply move them temporarily to the C: drive. If it still fails then zip them up along with any archive files from C:/System/Apps/RMRTask/Data/ (extension of .old) and send them to support@rmrsoft.com for conversion.
To ensure the SIS file does not get too large, this contains only English versions of the Help file and any instructions. In most cases international versions of these files are available and can be downloaded from the appropriate national page at http://www.rmrsoft.com/ or by sending a disc to the UK address in the Help file.
RUNNING THE PROGRAM
Start the program by selecting the 'Extras' from the Application bar and then 'RMRTask'.
REGISTRATION
If you wish to register the program, you can do so by post (snail-mail), or on-line using a credit card. The registration fee is ú10 or 15US$. (plus $5 if using REGNET)
If you wish to register on-line using a credit card you have 2 options:
USA Residents:
We now support the PayPal system for transferring of money, as that avoids the $5 handling charge put on by REGNET. Simply send the money to alan@rmrsoft.com quoting the program you wish to register and we will send the registration code to you within a few hours.
If you are not already signed up for PayPal it is very straightforward to join. Just go to www.paypal.com and follow the instructions. However, we would appreciate if you say that you were referred by alan@rmrsoft.com so that we get the $5 referral bonus :-)).
Non-USA Residents:
Until PayPal goes international you will have to register on the WWW through RegNet, the Registration Network (Note that paying by this method will involve an extra US$5 handling charge). Please note that these are the addresses of our 'agents'. If you use these addresses, Registration codes will be sent out fairly quickly (provided they are not on holiday), but if you send a technical query it will have to be redirected to us, so might take longer to reply. In each case, we (or our agent) will then send you a personalised registration code to enter (select the option via the Menu) to remove the 'nag' screen and allow full use of the program. Note that you will NOT need a new copy of the program, all the functionality is already there but just needs 'unlocking' by the registration code. We will also ensure that this code remains forward compatible for future versions of the program so, unlike other programs, we will not be asking for a further fee for an upgrade to the EPOC version.

All software products from RMR Software Limited are made available under the terms of the "End User Licence Agreement" (EULA) set out in the following sections.

END USER LICENCE AGREEMENT
The software is protected by copyright law and international treaty provisions. You acknowledge that no title to the intellectual property in the software is transferred to you. You further acknowledge that title and full ownership rights to the software will remain the exclusive property of RMR Software, and you will not acquire any rights to the software except as expressly set forth in this licence. You agree that any copies of the software will contain the same proprietary notices which appear on and in the software.
GRANT OF LICENCE
This RMR Software Licence Agreement ("Licence") permits you to use one copy of the RMR Software product downloaded, which may include user documentation provided in electronic form ("SOFTWARE"). The SOFTWARE is licensed to a single user. The SOFTWARE or its component parts may not be separated for use by more than one user at any one time. However, you may install the SOFTWARE on more than one computer, provided it is solely for the use of the licensee.
REVERSE ENGINEERING
You agree that you will not attempt to reverse compile, modify, translate, or disassemble the software in whole or in part.
DISTRIBUTION
Webmasters, platform manufacturers, dealers, distributors, agents, publishers or any other third party are permitted to copy or distribute the SOFTWARE, provided it remains in the same format as the product available from the RMR Software Web Site. It is NOT permitted to copy or distribute any of the component parts of the SOFTWARE. Establishing an Internet link to the RMR Software web site is permitted, and is encouraged, in order to facilitate access to the SOFTWARE.
COPYRIGHT
The SOFTWARE (including any images and text incorporated into the product) is owned by RMR Software and is protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions.
LIMITED WARRANTY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RMR Software disclaims all warranties, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
