DCP help you to manage your working environment, to handle stickers rapidly, to control general features of a Series 5 or a Geofox one (batteries, backlight, sound, link), warn you when your batteries reach a user defined level,...
BDesktops screen is used to define a specific working environment.
You add shortcuts for launching files and applications.
It's like a windows manager, use single or double click or enter to launch user defined shortcuts.
Drag and place your shortcuts as you want in the screen.
You can Add, Delete, Rename shortcuts.
You can Clean or Rename your current environment.
There is No Limits (if you have enough memory of course) in environment creation.
You can copy/cut and paste a selected shortcut (even when you change from current environment).
DCP allows jotter features too.You can in clicking on the Pen icon, write direclty on screen with the pointer. Select the rubber to erase what you have written.
CThe control panel window lets you manage many levels of your machine.
Backlight : You can manage or not Backlight.
When you click in External Power, backlight control operate only when you have an external power detected.
You define start and stop time to bring backlight on.
Alarm : You can define you week wake up. Just check it and alarm will be programmed as well.
Batteries : 3 levels are defined.
The minimum main battery level is used to warn you when it's reached.
The minimum backup battery level is used to warn you when it's reached.
The minimum main battery level for CF is used to stop all application running on CF when it's reached.
Contrast :You can direclty manage the contrast in clicking on the up and down arrow new the screen icon in the control panel window.

RUBBER : This icon is used to erase the writings from the previous icon. It's a rubber. If you erase a part of an icon in the screen don't worry just click on the "shortcut arrow" icon to refresh the screen.
SURF : You can create a shortcut to an URL in clicking on this icon.
CONTACT : Create a contact in clicking on this icon. Informations can be entered and this contact can be linked to 5MX Contact manager.
CALC : Click on this icon to display the small calculate which offers 10 memories and currencies conversions.
AGENDA : This icon let the user manage todos, phone calls and appointment direclty linked with your preferred agenda file.
TASKS : This icon displays the task list dialog box.
BATTERY : This icon shows the current batteries status
MEMORY : This icon shows the current memory status
LINK : Click on this icon to activate or unactivate the link.
SOUND : Click on this icon to activate or unactivate the sound.
BACKLIGHT : Click on this icon to activate or unactivate the backlight.
EXTERNAL POWER : This icon shows the external power status.
CONTRAST : Click on the top or bottom of this icon to increase or decrease the contrast level.
