hBEuroCalculator is an application that provides a calculation cum conversion interface between the common currency EURO and all the other European currencies participating in the common currency changeover.
EuroCalculator is an 11-digit calculator that facilitates a two-way conversion between Euro and all the eleven countries. A setup utility helps the selection of any five currencies
conversion against the EURO. The application has been developed keeping in mind the directives for the conversion between EURO and other currencies.
The application also integrates the standard features of a simple calculator.
+ATo perform simple calculations:
Enter the first number in the calculation.
Click + to add, - to subtract, * to multiply, or / to divide.
Enter the next number in the calculation.
Click =.
Note: Pressing the button, on the calculator, labelled with the currency
s name chooses the primary currency.
HAConverted amount will be displayed in the rest of the currencies.
Enter a number in any of the currency.
For all the calculations performed, the corresponding equivalent converted value gets displayed simultaneously.

APress the Setup Button on Toolbar.
Check the desired currencies.
Check the
Round off
to display the respective currency values rounded off to two decimal places.
Press the Setup Button once more to move back to the calculator.
Note: BEF, ESP, ITL, LUF and PTE do not display decimals after conversions if
Round Off
option is checked.
Note: At a time five currencies must be selected to be displayed.
;AYou can choose custom currency of your own choice. For this you have to check the custom currency option and then enter a maximum three letter currency name and its conversion rate with respect to euro. When you exit this rate will be saved. However, to change this rate you have to modify this rate on your own.

Note: On the beginning of new year a dialog box will appear to enter new conversion rates and will keep appearing every time you start the application unless new conversion rates are entered. On pressing cancel it will keep using old conversion rates, however once new conversion rates are entered, it will take new rates and you can
t change these rates until beginning of the next year.
*CEuroCalculator provides the user with an option to store a selected value in the calculator
s memory. Four buttons control the memory features:
MS: Press this button to add a new number in the calculator's memory. The value added is that of the currency with current focus (Chosen currency).
MR: Press this button to recall the value currently stored in the memory. The value returned is automatically converted to the chosen currency and reflected in rest of the currencies.
M+: Pressing this button adds the value in the current primary (focussed) currency to the value in memory after automatic conversion in to the stored currency
s value.
MC: Press this button to clear memory contents of the calculator.
Note: If a value is stored in memory, a
symbol appears over the
button to indicate this.
