  1. Explanation of the VER command. 
  2. It is INTERNAL.
  3. This command will will show you what 
  4. version of MS-DOS you are currently using. 
  5. Example:
  6.        Lets say you are working with 
  7.        MS-DOS 5.0 normally but this time 
  8.        not all of the commands work. To see
  9.        if you might be using a different 
  10.        DOS version just type:
  11.            ver
  12.        DOS will then respond with the 
  13.        following, where n.nn is the 
  14.        version number:
  15.            MS-DOS Version n.nn
