  6. The clock will not start timing your responses until you type the first
  7. character.

  9. At the end of the real test (as opposed to the warm up) your results will be
  10. written to a file called RESULTS.TTX.  The results of the speed test are
  11. stored in the file RESULTS.  This file is overwritten after every completed
  12. speed test.  It provides a copy of the results for reference purposes after
  13. the test has been completed.

  15. While typing you can optionally switch the beeper ON or OFF with the ! key.

  17. You may abort a session early by hitting the ESC key at any time but if you
  18. do this your speed will not be calculated.

  35. CUSTOM ............ by editing this file you can add a totally new style of
  36.                     text to the list.  To edit this speed test file use either
  37.                     the EDLIN command which is described in your MS-DOS manual,
  38.                     or use any editor or word processor you may have on your
  39.                     system.  Remember to save as ASCII if you are using a word
  40.                     processor and remember NOT to use special word processing
  41.                     commands.
