- WELCOME TO WUNDER BOOK 1.0 01-FEBRUARY-1991
-
- This README file contains important, last minute information in
- addition to WB.DOC . It also answers some common questions.
-
- ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- A) TO PLAY WUNDER BOOK, an IBM PC, XT, AT, PS/1, PS/2 or IBM-compatible
- computer with an EGA or VGA adapter is required. Mouse is optional,
- and can be used together with the keyboard or separately. The mouse
- driver must be loaded before running WB.EXE to use the mouse. This
- program also requires 256 K of system memory. It does NOT require a
- hard disk (though with a hard disk pictures will come up on screen
- faster because of faster disk access), and the number of objects and
- floppies it can work with is UNLIMITED !
-
- B) SPECIAL NOTES FOR SHAREWARE VERSION: WUNDER BOOK presently includes
- 40 objects. With registration you will have a total of 200 objects.
- You will also receive additional information on other object libraries
- of different themes and topics available for purchase such as geography,
- math, history, science, flags, nationals, and other languages...
-
- C) IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS PLAYING WUNDER BOOK: even with a system described
- above, it is likely the problems have already been corrected in the
- latest version of the WUNDER BOOK. Also type WB ? <CR> (carriage return)
- for more information on manual setting of graphics modes for different
- computers.
