  4. People ^like\ to be amused by funny stories, even if they are really 'corny'
  5. ones, and telling jokes is a great ice-breaker at social gatherings.

  7. Many people can never remember a single joke or story, even though they have
  8. probably heard hundreds.  Other people remember parts of stories, and end up
  9. telling the story out of sequence, or giving away the punchline in the
  10. middle of the story.
