  7. I connected a foot pedal switch to my
  8. [Ctrl] key so that I can press the key,
  9. or step on the foot pedal for the same
  10. result. Foot pedals could also be
  11. connected to the [Alt] key, the [Shift]
  12. keys or [Enter]. Since the software I
  13. like uses the [Ctrl] key plus letters
  14. to move the cursor and mark text
  15. blocks, I can re-arrange text very
  16. quickly, since I never have to leave
  17. the home keys to press [Ctrl].
  18.     Because of the technical details
  19. involved, having a competent hardware
  20. person do it is recommended.  It
  21. doesn't work with all keyboards.
