COSMO KID FROM SPACE APOGEE Registration $ docs
GAME FEB92 COSMO GRAPHICS VGA JOYSTICK ADVENTURE APOGEE MOUSE
FILES 1cosmo.sdn
From the creator of Duke Nukum, Todd Replogle, comes a game
that redefines the boundary of IBM PC graphics. A game that
features full-screen wide, dual screen, four-way scrolling
levels! In simplier terms, if you've ever played games on the
Sega Genesis or Super Nintendo, you've seen what dual-
scrolling levels means: Incredibly realistic graphics.
Duke Nukum has a non-scrolling background, but Cosmo has a
colorful background that actually scrolls (moves) at a
different rate than the foreground plane of graphics. This
simulates an amazing 3D feeling.
Cosmo is a lovable extraterrestrial (alien) with a spicial
ability, he has hands that work like suction cups! He can
cling to walls, ledges, and all sorts of things. (Some have
remarked that he looks like an alien version of Bart
Simpson.)
Cosmo and his family are on their way to Earth, because
Cosmo finally got his birthday wish--to visit Disney World!
But a meteor strikes their ship and forces them to crash land
on the planet Zonk. Cosmo's parents are captured by the
planet's inhabitants, and Cosmo sets out to rescue them.
Young Cosmo embarks upon a thrilling adventure that will
undoubtedly become an Apogee classic.
