  13. DANCAD3D  is an excellent and versatile drawing and  drafting
  14. program  that  lets you make very high quality line drawings.
  15. You can draw two or three dimensional drawings.  Drawings are
  16. object  oriented  so  elements  in   the   drawing   can   be
  17. independently saved, loaded, rotated, moved, and magnified at
  18. any  time  during  the  development of a drawing.  A complete
  19. macro language lets you instruct DANCAD3D to carry out  tasks
  20. such  as  robotic  simulations and the production of animated
  21. motion pictures.   DANCAD3D  prints  surprisingly  sharp  and
  22. crisp  lines  on  Epson-IBM compatible 9 or 24 pin dot matrix
  23. printers.  DANCAD3D has very powerful lettering commands  and
  24. automatic  dimensioning.   DANCAD3D  works  in  any system of
  25. units, from light years down to microns.

  27. When  used with DANCAM and DANPLOT (disk xxx)  DANCAD3D  lets
  28. you  prepare  tool  paths  that  let  you  manufacture actual
  29. parts.  So DANCAD3D not only lets you  design,  animate,  and
  30. draft  your  projects  -  you  can now automatically make any
  31. part,  even  complex  three  dimensional  components.   Since
  32. DANCAD3D  is  fully  three  dimensional  tool  paths  can  be
  33. generated for any shape, even ones described by  mathematical
  34. formula.

  36. DANCAD3D is   useful   for  many  different  applications:  ~
  37. Mechanical drawings and technical  illustrations  ~  Business
  38. forms  of  many kinds.  ~ Page layouts which combine text and
  39. drawings ~ Automatic computer slide shows,  and  3D  computer
  40. animation  ~  Engineering  simulation  to  verify  the fit of
  41. three-dimensional shapes ~ Produce two  or  three-dimensional
  42. DANCAM tool path files.

  44. DANCAD3D  supports many plotters and can automatically select
  45. up to 127 different pen types.  DANCAD3D now supports 300 dpi
  46. HP-PCL compatible Laser printers like the LASERJET II series,
  47. as  well as working on laser printers that use PostScript and
  48. HPGL codes.  Manuscript quality drawings can be  produced  on
  49. imagesetters like the Linotronic 300.

  51. DANCAD3D now  offers improved ease of use by having the mouse
  52. point and click on most commands.  Operation of  drawing  and
  53. menu selection can be done with a mouse, 3D trackball, or the
  54. normal keyboard keys.

  56. The  animation  feature  in  DANCAD3D is a useful engineering
  57. tool since you can use DANCAD3D to make an animated  close-up
  58. of moving parts in a layout drawing.
