  5. Why is IMPROCES:
  6. Do you have  a SVGA video card? Tired  of software that won't
  7. use your SVGA  modes? I am, I have an  Ahead SVGA card with 1
  8. meg of  RAM and I  couldn't find any  software that would  do
  9. 1024x768x256. With the help of  a SVGA BGI driver for Borland
  10. languages  written  by  Jordan  Hargrave,  I  wrote some! The
  11. following video cards are supported:

  13. Ahead, ATI,  Chips & Tech,  Everex, Paradise, Trident,  Tseng
  14. (both 3000  and 4000 chipsets)  and Video7, any  card w/ VESA
  15. capability.

  17. Modes from 320x200x256 through 1024x768x256 are supported. If
  18. you run into a mode that  you know your card supports but the
  19. program is  having trouble with,  let me know  and I'll relay
  20. the info to the author of the  Video Driver and try to get it
  21. fixed. I need to know: Video card make and model, chipset the
  22. card is based  on and how much RAM is  installed on the video
  23. card and what mode is giving you trouble. If your card is not
  24. one of  the ones mentioned above  and is not based  on one of
  25. the above chipsets,  it will be treated as  a generic VGA and
  26. modes over 320x200x256 probably will  not work. I will not be
  27. able to do anything about  these generic cards. NOTE: Virtual
  28. modes up to 2048x2048 will work on any VGA card.

  30. IMPROCES  has  many  features:  Image  contrast  enhancement,
  31. Histograms, Sharpening  by convolution, Custom  filters, Full
  32. control  of the  VGA palette,  Clipboard, Five  Fonts in five
  33. sizes,  FAT BIT  editor, many  drawing tools,  flips, mirror,
  34. Color Cycling, Plasma and terrain fractals, SVGA modes, UNDO,
  35. XMS/EMS support, on  and on and on. This  is a feature packed
  36. program.  Take the  time to  master it  and you  be producing
  37. images  that  you  never  dreamed  of!  The  best thing about
  38. IMPROCES is  that it is  easy to  use  and it is  fun to play
  39. with!
