  6. HACKER is a multi-function utility that allows programmers to
  7. create more powerful batch files.  Some functions communicate
  8. with  DOS and  the operator  through  the Errorlevel.   Other
  9. functions change  the cursor definition.  find  hidden files,
  10. or modify ascii files.
  11.  
  12. HACKER  permits custom  interrogation  of  the operator,  and
  13. reports, via the Errorlevel,  volume labels, directory names,
  14. video mode, time,  date.  It allows the  programming of timed
  15. pauses, reverse  video notices,  partial screen  clearing and
  16. sound effects.

  18. These and  many other functions  are collected into  a single
  19. program, complete with on-line help, for simplicity and space
  20. conservation.
