  7. Solar  is  a  fun  and  informative  solar eclipse prediction
  8. program.  Displays  all  solar  eclipse  tabular  data: Local
  9. Circumstances,  central  line  limits,  partial phase limits,
  10. etc.  View/print  the  eclipse  path  on  a  rectangular  map
  11. projection  of the  world. You  can select  from 180 eclipses
  12. from March 7, 1951 to May 9, 2032.

  16.         Graphic Simulation Mode:

  18.                 This option allows you to view how the
  19.                 eclipse will look at a selected location.
  20.  
  21.         QuickMap Graphic Mode:

  23.                 This option will immediately display a
  24.                 rectangular map projection of the world and
  25.                 begin plotting the eclipse path.  You no
  26.                 longer have to wait until the world map
  27.                 drawing is completed.

  30. One of SOLAR's unique  capabilities is for planning purposes.
  31. You can check  at a glance whether or not  an eclipse will be
  32. visible  at a  selected site.  If it  is, will  it be a total
  33. eclipse? How  long? SOLAR can  easily give you  these answers
  34. and more.

  38. IBM compatible computer, 512K  RAM, Hercules, CGA, EGA, MCGA,
  39. VGA, SVGA, or Monochrome monitors.

  41. Epson  compatible or  Laserjet printer  is required  to print
  42. maps.

  44. MS-DOS  2.11  or  higher.  Hard  Drive  recommended  but  not
  45. required.
