The director is used to manipulate files
without leaving AZA. Files are also
pulled into the ZIP command line. This
saves the time and trouble of typing
them manually.
If more than three file names are marked
to go to the command line, then the List
File feature of PKZIP is used. A temp-
orary ASCII file with the file names in
it is created and the name of the List
File is entered on the command line with
a @ in front of the name. This also
allows multiple files from different
sub-directories to be pulled in. Simply
go in and out of director as needed and
multiple List Files will be created.
The only limitation is the 120 character
limit on the command line itself.

Enter the DOS command to be executed at
the DOS command line. This may be any
valid DOS command or a program name.
When the command is finished executing
AZA will return at the same point.
One limitation is that the director must
be positioned on the same drive that AZA
is physically located on. For example
You can't change from C: to B: and then
execute a command. You can execute a
command from C: (assuming AZA is on C:)
to perform a task on B:
For example:
DIR B:

This option is used to exclude files from the current operation.
It can be used with any of the dos file handling descriptions.
For example:
*.txt would exclude all txt files.
Caution: There seems to be a problem with PKZip 1.1 in that it
won't accept the full path with this option, therefore this
option can only be used when working in the same sub-directory.

AZA is a user interface program to make working with ZIP files
easy and less intimidating. AZA is not a standalone program.
AZA requires PKware's PKZIP and PKUNZIP v1.1 to function. These
excellent programs are copyrighted shareware programs which can
be obtained on many BBS'S and registered through PKware, Inc.
If you find this software easy to use and useful, a registration
of $7 would be greatly appreciated. Please state the version of
software that you currently have. Send registrations to:
