  5.         Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this
  6. manual. I hope that you find Disk OrGanizer useful.
  7.  
  8.         A  disk that  has been  in use  a while  will usually
  9. become slower accessing the data  and programs that have been
  10. stored on it. This is due to two problems:
  11.  
  12. o  The disk has become fragmented.
  13. o  There are deleted entries in directories.
  14.  
  15.         Disk  OrGanizer will  solve these  problems and  make
  16. your disk run like new.
  17.  
  18.         If  the size  of a  directory decreases  enough after
  19. removing the deleted entries, Disk OrGanizer can also recover
  20. some disk space.
  21.  
  22.         Disk  OrGanizer  has  been  tested  with MS-DOS 2.10,
  23. 3.01, 3.10, 3.30, 4.01 and 5.0  on logical drives as large as
  24. 600  megabytes.  It  is  believed  that  Disk  OrGanizer will
  25. operate on any MS/PC-DOS disk.

  27.         Disk  OrGanizer  performs  extensive  tests before it
  28. starts to  move data, to  make sure that  the File Allocation
  29. Table (FAT) and directories are in good repair.
