  9. GSR now works on ANY size file.
  10.  
  11. You may select a single file,  or a group of files to operate
  12. on.
  13.  
  14. You specify what  text to look for, and  what text to replace
  15. it with.
  16.  
  17. Your search can be either case sensitive or not.
  18.  
  19. You may either view each  occurance, to verify the change, or
  20. have GSR automatically make all replacements for you.
  21.  
  22. The search and/or replace string can be read from a disk file
  23. allowing you to search for and replace binary or text strings
  24. made with your choice of editor.
  25.  
  26. In  any case,  if you  choose to  make the replacements, your
  27. original  file  will  be   saved  with  the  extension  .GSR.
  28. Subsequent changes will increment the .GSR extension, with up
  29. to 99  changes kept on any  single file name. Like  .gsr .gs1
  30. .gs2 up to .g99

  32. Probable uses are:

  34. Find  all occurances  of any  text and  replace it with other
  35. text.  Rename  an  existing  variable  across  many programs.
  36. Change a copyright notice. Change  a client name when you are
  37. recycling code. and many more.....

  40. Hardware Requirements : IBM  compatible computer. 512k RAM, 2
  41. floppys or floppy/hard combo.

  43. Other Requirements : MS-DOS 3.x or higher.
