The Hard Disk Floppy Cataloger is a file management program
that will immediately provide the User with needed disk
space, without the worry of possible Data Loss. All needed
files, that are not utilized on a regular basis, are
transferred to floppy disks by the User. A Catalog File is
then maintained on the User's hard disk that will store the
Floppy Disk ID Label, the Description of the contents on the
floppy disk, and the Name and Extension of each and every
file. Users will have the opportunity to add, change, or
delete listings from their Catalog File at any time. It is
possible to search this file, for any needed file name, by
using one, or more characters. The User will then be
furnished with a complete list of all file names that contain
the search string. Menu commands allow the User to
automatically print the Catalog File and the disk information
concerning the last file that was added. Before printing the
Catalog File, the User is given the opportunity to secure an
accurate count of the current number of disks and file names
stored, and then an opportunity to terminate the print
command after being given this information. Program Set-Up is
accomplished by use of the main menu; which allows the User
to select the Floppy Drive, the Hard Drive, and the name of
the Directory that will be assigned. This information can
then be changed at any time. User Friendly....
