  5. This is an accessory for use with the MicroLink telecommunications
  6. program, previously released via WinNet.  It is written in Visual Basic
  7. and requires the VBRUN DLL library, also distributed via WinNet.  A 
  8. sample BBS list and compiled dialing direectory is included, in this
  9. case from the author's home town of San Antonio, Texas.

  11. "Purpose:  Converts an ASCII BBS list to a MicroLink dialing directory.
  12.           You won't need to enter in every BBS entry from scratch into
  13.           the MLINK dialing directory manager.  BBS2MLNK will set up
  14.           the basic entries for you and allow some tailoring in those
  15.           most important areas such as File Transfer Protocol and
  16.           communications settings.

  18. Input:    Any ASCII file of a BBS list can be used.  The file BBSLST.BBS
  19.           is included in this package as an example input file.  The input
  20.           file needs to contain only three fields, which can be located
  21.           anywhere on the line.  Those fields are:

  23.                         BBS Name
  24.                         BBS Phone Number
  25.                         BBS Baud Rate
  26.  
  27.           BBS2MLNK will use these fields plus the selections from the
  28.           input form to create a dialing directory entry for each BBS
  29.           in the ASCII list.  It will use the maximum baud rate that
  30.           you specified on the form or the maximum baud rate of the BBS
  31.           entry in the ASCII list, whichever is lowest.

  33. Output:   A MicroLink dialing directory is the output file.  The file
  34.           BBSLST.DR1 is included in this package as an example output file."
