  5. "Windows Command is a command line interface designed for the Microsoft
  6. Windows environment.  It combines the features of enhanced DOS command line
  7. interpreters with the ability to access the features of Windows.  These 
  8. features include:

  10.     * command history/recall 
  11.     * filename completion
  12.     * command aliases
  13.     * multiple commands per line
  14.     * redirection of standard output
  15.     * a complete command set including MOVE and EXCEPT
  16.     * minimize, maximize or close any window from the command line
  17.     * set Windows filename associations from the command line
  18.     * much more!

  20. Windows Command can be used any time you would normally run a DOS shell
  21. such as COMMAND.COM under Windows in any mode.  This means you can have "DOS" 
  22. running in a window under 386 Enhanced, Standard, and even Real mode Windows!  
  23. You can also use Windows Command as your Windows shell, instead of Program
  24. Manager or File Manager.  This is nice if you are used to using the command 
  25. line in DOS, and find you can issue commands faster by typing than by dragging
  26. your mouse around.  If you don't have a mouse, you will find that Windows
  27. Command makes it much easier to access the abilities of Windows."
