  5.   KnowledgePro (Windows) is an intelligent tool for creating applications

  17.                              INSTALLATION
  18. ============================================================================

  20.   If you haven't already installed the Demonstration System, you can
  21.   automate the process by running the INSTALL.EXE program on your disk.
  22.  
  23.   Once KnowledgePro (Windows) has been installed, click on the icon or
  24.   load it from the File Manager or MS-DOS Executive depending on which
  25.   version of Microsoft Windows that you have.

  27.   If you prefer to install manually, follow the manual instructions below.

  30.                            MANUAL INSTALLATION
  31. ============================================================================
  32.  
  33.   To manually install KnowledgePro (Windows) Demonstration System, copy 
  34.   all the files on the RUNTIME disk to your hard disk.  Then type:
  35.  
  36.       ARCE *.ARC 
  37.  
  38.   at the C: prompt.  At this point any .ARC files will not be needed, 
  39.   and can be deleted from your hard disk to save space.  
  40.   Next, add the following line to your WIN.INI file, under the heading 
  41.   [extensions]:
  42.  
  43.       CKB=kppath\KPWINRUN.EXE ^.CKB
  44.   
  45.   This will load the KnowledgePro runtime system when a .CKB file is 
  46.   selected from the File Manager or MS-DOS Executive depending on 
  47.   which verion of Microsoft Windows you are running. 
  48.   You can also use the Windows file manager to Associate the CKB 
  49.   extension with KPWINRUN.EXE.

  51.   If you are running Windows 3.0 and would like the KnowledgePro (Windows)
  52.   Demonstration System available from an icon in the Program Manager,
  53.   use the Program Manager's File/Properties menu option to change
  54.   icon to KPWIN.ICO.
