  2.                              GUNSHIP DEMO

  5. MicroProse Software has just released an enhanced IBM version of its best-
  6. selling helicopter simulation GUNSHIP.  The new release features filled, 
  7. solid terrain and targets, added detail and color, and smooth 3-D animation.
  8.  
  9. A dynamic configuration system adjusts the game automatically to take
  10. advantage of the computer's speed.  The faster a machine operates, the
  11. smoother the flight and animation of graphics will be (with a practical limit
  12. of 30 frames per second).

  15. You may run this non-interactive demo if you have:
  16.         o IBM-PC/XT/AT/PS2 or 100% compatible (not PCjr)
  17.         o at least 256K RAM
  18.         o DOS 2.0 or higher
  19.         o an EGA (16 color), CGA (4 color), or Tandy (16 color) graphics board

  22. To run the demo:
  23.         o Boot your system as normal.
  24.         o Insert the demo disk in drive A.
  25.         o At the A:> prompt, type "GSDEMO".
  26.         o Select the appropriate graphics mode.
  27.         o The demo will run continuously.

  30. Options:
  31.         o Ctrl-Break will restart the demo from the beginning.
  32.  
  33.         o The "V" key will toggle the sound off & on during the actual flight
  34.           portion of the demo.  This remains in effect as the demo recycles.
  35.  
  36.         o The "=" key will toggle "accelerated time" mode.  This makes the
  37.           flight appear twice as fast as real time.  For a good time, try 
  38.           this on an AT or 386!

  40.         o ALT-"=" and ALT-"-" can be used to fine tune the frame rate.  This
  41.           is similar to accelerated time mode, but with much more precision.

  43.         o To run from a RAM-disk or hard disk, copy all of the files to that
  44.           drive with COPY *.*, make that drive current, and type "GSDEMO".
