  2. HOW TO REGISTER
  3.      SirlinVIEW/Lite is a Shareware program. The registration
  4.      fee is $25 (U.S Dollars), payable by check, money order,
  5.      or Mastercard/Visa to Sirlin Computer Corporation. Once
  6.      payment is received, you will receive a registration code
  7.      (either by phone, mail, or e-mail), which you must enter
  8.      along with your name and company information.
  9.  
  10.      By registering, you will be eligible for technical
  11.      support, notification of product updates, new product
  12.      announcements and other benefits.

  27. DEFINITION OF SHAREWARE
  28.      Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try
  29.      software before buying it. If you try a Shareware program
  30.      and continue using it, you are expected to register.
  31.      Individual programs differ on details -- some request
  32.      registration while others require it, some specify a
  33.      maximum trial period. With registration, you get anything
  34.      from the simple right to continue using the software to
  35.      an updated program with printed manual.
  36.  
  37.      Copyright laws apply to both Shareware and commercial
  38.      software, and the copyright holder retains all rights,
  39.      with a few specific exceptions as stated below. Shareware
  40.      authors are accomplished programmers, just like
  41.      commercial authors, and the programs are of comparable
  42.      quality. (In both cases, there are good programs and bad
  43.      ones!) The main difference is in the method of
  44.      distribution. The author specifically grants the right to
  45.      copy and distribute the software, either to all and
  46.      sundry or to a specific group. For example, some authors
  47.      require written permission before a commercial disk
  48.      vendor may copy their Shareware.

  50.      Shareware is a distribution method, not a type of
  51.      software. You should find software that suits your needs
  52.      and pocketbook, whether it's commercial or Shareware. The
  53.      Shareware system makes fitting your needs easier, because
  54.      you can try before you buy. And because the overhead is
  55.      low, prices are low also. Shareware has the ultimate
  56.      money-back guarantee -- if you don't use the product, you
  57.      don't pay for it.

  62.      Users of SirlinVIEW/Lite must accept this disclaimer of
  63.      warranty: "SirlinVIEW/Lite is supplied as is.  The author
  64.      disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied,
  65.      including, without limitation, the warranties of
  66.      merchantability and of fitness for any purpose. The
  67.      author assumes no liability for damages, direct or
  68.      consequential, which may result from the use of
  69.      SirlinVIEW/Lite."

  71.      SirlinVIEW/Lite is a "shareware program" and is provided
  72.      at no charge to the user for evaluation.  Feel free to
  73.      share it with your friends, but please do not give it
  74.      away altered or as part of another system.  The essence
  75.      of "user-supported" software is to provide personal
  76.      computer users with quality software without high prices,
  77.      and yet to provide incentive for programmers to continue
  78.      to develop new products.  If you find this program useful
  79.      and find that you are using SirlinVIEW/Lite and continue
  80.      to use SirlinVIEW/Lite after a reasonable trial period,
  81.      you must make a registration payment of $25 (USD) to
  82.      Sirlin Computer Corporation.  The $25 registration fee
  83.      will license one copy for use on any one computer at any
  84.      one time.  You must treat this software just like a book. 
  85.      An example is that this software may be used by any
  86.      number of people and may be freely moved from one
  87.      computer location to another, so long as there is no
  88.      possibility of it being used at one location while it's
  89.      being used at another. Just as a book cannot be read by
  90.      two different persons at the same time.

  92.      Commercial users of SirlinVIEW/Lite must register and pay
  93.      for their copies of SirlinVIEW/Lite within 30 days of
  94.      first use or their license is withdrawn.  Site-License
  95.      arrangements may be made by contacting Sirlin Computer
  96.      Corporation.

  98.      Anyone distributing SirlinVIEW/Lite for any kind of
  99.      remuneration must first contact Sirlin Computer
  100.      Corporation at the address below for authorization. This
  101.      authorization will be automatically granted to
  102.      distributors recognized by the (ASP) as adhering to its
  103.      guidelines for shareware distributors, and such
  104.      distributors may begin offering SirlinVIEW/Lite
  105.      immediately (However Sirlin Computer Corporation must
  106.      still be advised so that the distributor can be kept
  107.      up-to-date with the latest version of SirlinVIEW/Lite.).

  109.      You are encouraged to pass a copy of SirlinVIEW/Lite
  110.      along to your friends for evaluation. When you do, please
  111.      delete the registration file SVLITE.REG first. Please
  112.      encourage them to register their copy if they find that
  113.      they can use it.  All registered users will receive a
  114.      copy of the latest version of the SirlinVIEW/Lite
  115.      software.

  119.      This program is produced by a member of the Association
  120.      of Shareware Professionals (ASP). ASP wants to make sure
  121.      that the shareware principle works for you. If you are
