  12. interpreted (human-readable) format, or as hex bytes.  New:  Fixes bug when
  13. scrolling a line at a time in browse mode.

  19. Files compressed with AXE, DIET, EXEPACK, ICE, LEXEM, LZEXE, PKLITE,
  20. SCRNCH, SHRINK & TINYPROG are displayed in the left window.  Uncompressed
  21. COM/EXE files are displayed in the right window.  Compress and uncompress
  22. individual and groups of files from within the program.  Navigate between
  23. drives/directories by pointing and shooting.  New:  Extends recognition of
  24. files compressed with LZEXE (hacked headers) and DIET (additional headers).

  30. Smaller, simpler version of DirX for when you just want a listing of
  31. compressed and uncompressed files.  Listing is redirectable to printer or
  32. file.  Mimicks DOS's DIR command, to an extent.  No sorting is performed.

  34. and DIET (additional headers).

  40. Directory lister & utility for ARC ARJ LZH LZS PAK ZIP ZOO.  Displays
  41. sorted member names by default.  Converts self-extracting (SFX) archives to
  42. normal archives.  Resets archive dates/times to match newest member.
  43. Strips extra bytes from ends of ARJ/LZH/ZIP files.  Strips/attaches ZIP file
  44. comments.  Sorts ZIP/LZH files on disk.  New:  For ZIP 2.0-type archives,
  45. correctly distinguishes among the 3 different variations for "deflating"
  46. (maXimal, Normal and Fast compression).

  52. Contains two equivalent programs, written entirely in C and Modula-2,
  53. respectively, which display 16-bit CRC values of files specified from the
  54. command line.  This is the same 16-bit CRC used for ARC, LZH, LZS, PAK and
  55. ZOO files.  C and Modula-2 source included.  Minor revision from v1.00.

  63. same as for ARJ & ZIP.  Wildcards and multiple filespecs supported.  New:
  64. Files now opened in sharing mode in DOS 3.0 and above.  Also, more of the
  65. program has been converted to assembler.  Now distributed in .EXE format.

  71. Computes & displays a single 16-bit & a single 32-bit CRC value for an
  72. entire directory.  In other words, the computed CRC values represent
  73. accumulated CRC's of all files contained in a directory.  May be used to
  74. provide a high degree of assurance that the contents of directories on
  75. physically separated computers are identical.  May also be used to see if
  76. the contents of a directory have changed over time.

  82. Allows you to see how a ZIP file is laid out on disk.  Uses windowing to
  83. step down to lower levels of detail.  Displays record offsets and most field
  84. values, including their interpretation.  Admittedly, this program isn't for
  85. everyone.  For the curious and those with a need to know, however, this
  86. program displays technical data on actual ZIP files that I haven't seen in
  87. any other program.  There are no switches.  Usage: ZFV zipfile

  93. A binary editor which allows easy editing of any file regardless of
  94. attributes.  Searches available from within a file:  1) text search, with
  95. wildcard support and 2) byte search, which can find arbitrary sequences of
  96. bytes specified by the user, including nulls, machine code and binary data.
  97. Also includes a scroll bar indicating relative file position, file header
  98. support and 256-byte default records.

  104. This program will find any file or subdirectory on your hard disk, including
  105. hidden and system files.  Wildcards are accepted.  Improvements to this
  106. version include an overall increase in speed and a smaller executable
  107. filesize.  Modula-2 source code included.

  113. This program will remove entire subdirectory trees from your hard disk -
  114. even those containing read-only, hidden and system files and directories.
  115. It will even delete the current directory.  The executable file for this
  116. version is significantly smaller than before.  Modula-2 source code
  117. included.

  120.        TITLE:  Calendar v1.00, 06/03/89

  123. A simple, pop-up calendar display program that can be used as a sort of
  124. perpetual calendar.  Valid years range from 0001 to 9999 (arbitrary).  This
  125. program is NOT memory-resident.  Scroll through the different months and
  126. years.  Although the executable file is stand-alone, I don't consider this
  127. to be a complete program.  I've contemplated using the included routines as
  128. the starting point for a scheduling program, for example.  Modula-2 source
  129. code included.
