=====================================================
As Paradox evolves, the Borland Edge keeps you among the
first to know of new features. Developers have long
requested pre-release information on future versions of
Paradox. In summer of 1992, developers received detailed
information about Paradox 4.0. All information contained in
these Summer FYI packages was delivered prior to Paradox
4.0's release to market. Included:
- 4.0 Reviewers Guide : Overview of all new interactive and
programmatic features in 4.0
- Pre-Release documentation: Reprints of five key chapters
from the PAL Programmers Guide: Using Windows, Handling
Events, Creating Menus, Creating Dialog Boxes, and Using
the new WAIT
- 4.0 Pocket Reference: Reference manual containing all 114
new PAL commands. This addendum to the PAL Pocket Guide
3.5 details command/function syntax and usage of Paradox
4.0.
In the fall of 1992, the offer was extended to include pre-
release information about Paradox for Windows. In the
future, the Borland Edge will continue to deliver an
