  1. Quick Installation of WordCruncher for the PC-SIG Windows CD-ROM.
  2.  
  3. WordCruncher keeps track of itself by reading and writing to ``maintenance
  4. files'' which take up about 22K.  The instructions below assume you are
  5. going to place these files in the PCSIGWIN directory created when you
  6. installed the PC-SIG CD-ROM.
  7.  
  8. 1. Switch to your CD-ROM and type:   CD\WCS [Enter]
  9.  
  10. 2. Type:  WCV CD=x:\PCSIGWIN [Enter]  (where x is the letter of your chosen 
  11. hard or floppy drive)
  12.  
  13. 3. Press the Insert key
  14.  
  15. 4. Type:  y:\WCS [Enter key twice]        (where y is the letter of
  16. your CD player)
  17.  
  18. 5. Press the Insert key. 
  19.  
  20. 6. Type:  y:\WCS [Enter]           (y is still the letter of your CD)
  21.  
  22. 7. Highlight PCSIGENC.BYB [Enter]
  23.  
  24. If you have installed the maintenance files on drive C you can now
  25. start WordCruncher with the WordCruncher link within the CD-ROM's
  26. HyperReader interface. 
  27.  
  28. To start WordCruncher from DOS change directories to the WCS directory 
  29. on the CD player and type WCV CD=x:\PCSIGWIN (where x is your chosen drive).
  30.  
  31. You can add "nolvl3" all in lower case if you wish to block the display of
  32. the number and word "heading" at the end of the program title line.
  33.     ex: WCV CD=x\PCSIGWIN nolvl3
