  3. The CD-ROM enclosed with the Softimage 3D Design Guide 
  4. is loaded with the following materials that you can 
  5. use to re-create the projects in the book, and use in 
  6. your own work:

  8. *  Softimage scene databases for the projects, including 
  9.    materials, textures, animations, and models from 
  10.    Viewpoint DataLabs International, Inc.
  11. *  The NuGraf Rendering System from Okino Software--A 
  12.    3D system that allows you to easily convert and render 
  13.    a myriad of 3D formats on your PC
  14. *  4Dpaint from 4DVision--A 3D paint application that 
  15.    plugs into Softimage 3D
  16. *  SCULPTOR from 4DVision--An interactive NURBS-based 
  17.    surface modeler for Windows NT or Windows 95
  18.  
  19. Directions for use: 
  20. To link up the scene databases for each chapter that 
  21. contains models or scenes, use the database manager in 
  22. Softimage 3D.
  23.  
  24. To load the NuGraf software, located in the Okino 
  25. directory, run Setup from the disk1 directory.
  26.  
  27. To install the demo versions of 4Dpaint and SCULPTOR, 
  28. load the 4DVision directory.

  41. requirements, you may experience video or audio delays.
