  9. If you are running out of memory on you H/PC or Palm-size PC here are a few methods to
  10. reduce the storage used by LineUp without greatly reducing functionallity.
  11. </p>
  12. <p>
  13. You can remove the <strong>Sound</strong> files without affecting LineUp's playablility.
  14. If these files are deleted then instead of hearing the various sound effects you will hear a 
  15. short chime sound.
  16. </p>
  17. <p>
  18. The files that can be removed are found in the
  19. \Windows directory and are named :
  20. <UL>
  21. <li>LineUp_bomb.wav
  22. <li>LineUp_erase.wav
  23. <li>LineUp_highscore.wav
  24. <li>LineUp_invalidmove.wav
  25. </UL>
  26. Deleting these files will free approximately 135K of storage RAM.

  30. Another group of files that can be safely removed are the <strong>Help</strong> files you are currently reading. The files are located in 
  31. the \Windows directory and are named :

  35. <li>LineUp_Memory.htp
  36. <li>LineUp_Playing.htp
  37. <li>LineUp_Register.htp
  38. <li>LineUp_Scoring.htp

  40. <li>LineUpColorWild.bmp
  41. <li>LineUpGrayWild.bmp
  42. </UL>
  43. Deleting these files will free approximately 14K of storage RAM.
