This disc contains several source code archives, including the Simtel20
Unix-C archive, the usenet source archives, and a large collection of MSDOS
source code.
Please check individual files for copyrights and distribution restrictions.

This disk conforms to the level 1, ISO-9660 format. All the filenames
are limited to eight single-case characters, with an extension of up
to three characters. Major directories have an index file named
00_index.txt that contains a description of each file in the directory
and all subdirectories.
Most of the files in the msdos/ directory are in either ZIP or ARC format.
There are several programs located on this cdrom for handling these files:
msdos/pkunpak.exe Msdos program for unpacking files named *.ARC
msdos/pkunzip.exe Msdos program for unzipping files named *.ZIP
msdos/zip/unzip41.zip C source code for free Unix/VMS/MS-DOS UNZIP
usenet/altsrcs/2/2851. PKZIP/PKUNZIP for UNIX
usenet/compsrcs/misc/volume19/unzip Portable unzip v4.1
Most of the files in the unix_c/ directory are in tar (tape archive) format.
Most Unix systems already have a tar program. There are several tar programs
located on this cdrom:
msdos/filutl/detar.zip DOS program to de-TAR UNIX .TAR files
msdos/filutl/pdtar.arc Read/write TAR files on PC
msdos/filutl/tar.zip Unix-compatible TAR archive maker/extractor
usenet/compsrcs/unix/volume12/pdtar Public-domain TAR program
Most of the files in the usenet/ directory are in shar (shell archive) format.
There are several unshar programs on this cdrom:
msdos/filutl/toadshr1.arc DOS Unix-compatible shar/unshar, w/TP 5.0 src
msdos/filutl/unshar.zip Program to Decode Files Created by UNIX Shar Prg
unix_c/filemgmt/unshar.tar A program to undo "shar" files.
usenet/compsrcs/amiga/volume90/unix/unshar_1.2
usenet/compsrcs/misc/volume05/unshar.prl perl version of unshar

The Msdos sources are mostly from the Simtel20 Msdos archive, but also
include files from other sources.
The sources in the unix_c/ directory are from the Simtel20 Unix-C Archive.
The Simtel20 archives can be accessed at the internet site
wsmr-simtel20.army.mil (192.88.110.20), or through the mirror sites at
wuarchive.wustl.edu (128.252.135.4) or oakland.edu (141.210.10.117).
The programs in the usenet directory are from the internet site ftp.uu.net
(137.39.1.9).
