  28. Zeek the Geek Part One
  29.  
  30. Zeek the Geek Part One is an introduction to Zeek and the puzzling situations
  31. that he finds himself in.  Zeek needs to collect mushrooms for his family,
  32. and you can help him figure out how to get them. You will guide him through
  33. fifteen levels of play, and encounter a number of obstacles along the way.
  34. There are block walls that can't be moved and locked gates that can only be
  35. opened if you find the key. There are boulders to push out of the way,
  36. flowers that eat Geeks, and many other things that may help or hinder Zeek in
  37. getting to the mushrooms. You will have to figure out how to use or avoid the
  38. things you find while you guide Zeek on his way.

  40. The complete list of things that Zeek will meet in Part One is:

  42.      Walls that do not move.
  43.      Yellow barrels that do not move.
  44.      Mushrooms that Zeek collects for his family.
  45.      Toadstools that are fatal if eaten.
  46.      Round yellow boulders that Zeek can push.

  50.      Keys to the gates. (Zeek can carry only one at a time.)

  56. Although other members of the Zeek family of programs must be purchased,
  57. Zeek the Geek Part One is provided free of charge.

  60. Zeek the Geek Part Two
  61.  
  62. Zeek the Geek Part Two is a continuation of the adventures of Zeek with
  63. thirty all new puzzling situations for you to help Zeek through.  Zeek
  64. still needs to collect mushrooms for his family, he will meet all the
  65. same hazards that he found in Zeek the Geek Part One, and he will meet
  66. many new ones, including Piclasops and Atomic Eyes.  A Piclasop looks
  67. something like an earthly triceratops, but it is strictly vegetarian.
  68. It can inflict a fatal byte if you get in its way, but it ignores Geeks
  69. when left alone.  Atomic Eyes were placed on Zeek's planet by an alien
  70. race that is trying to eliminate the Geeks and eventually take over the
  71. planet.  They watch the Geeks, and zap them with a laser blast if they
  72. can get a clear shot at them.

  74. The complete list of things that Zeek will meet in Part Two is:

  76.      Everything encountered in Part One.
  77.      Piclasops that graze on the local vegetation.
  78.      Atomic Eyes that zap Geeks when they can.
  79.      Blue flowers that are fatal if picked.
  80.      Attitude Eggs that change the colors of flowers.
  81.      Rotten Apples that are digested slowly by the purple flowers.
  82.      Invisibility pills that last for a short time.

  84. Zeek the Geek Part Two also includes the ability to read in Zeek the Geek
  85. Puzzle Packs. Each Puzzle Pack contains many more puzzles and challenges
  86. for you to help Zeek with.

  89. Zeek the Geek Puzzle Packs
  90.  
  91. Zeek the Geek Puzzle Packs provide an inexpensive way for you to continue the
  92. fun of Zeek the Geek Part Two by adding new puzzles for Zeek to solve.  The
  93. Puzzle Packs currently offered by Sidewalk Software each contain a collection
  94. of all new puzzles which can be read into Zeek the Geek Part Two.  Once
  95. loaded, the Puzzle Pack becomes a whole new game.  Choose a simple Puzzle
  96. Pack if you don't want to think too hard, or choose a more difficult Puzzle
  97. Pack if you really want to be challenged.  A number of Zeek the Geek Puzzle
  98. Packs are available from Sidewalk Software, and you may be able to find third
  99. party puzzle packs available elsewhere.

  127. Zeek the Geek Designer is a user friendly tool that lets you design and save
  128. your own puzzle packs for use with Zeek the Geek Part Two. It provides
  129. point-and-click building of up to sixty levels of play, and immediate
  130. testing of each level. No programming experience is necessary or even
  131. helpful in creating your puzzles, and you should be able to learn to use the
  132. simple controls just a few minutes.  You can build your puzzles with
  133. all the features and functionality of Zeek the Geek Part Two, and you can
  134. save your work in a puzzle pack that can be played on Zeek the Geek Part
  135. Two. Then you can use, sell, or otherwise distribute your puzzle pack without
  136. paying royalty fees to Sidewalk Software. Additionally, Sidewalk Software
  137. will offer to sell high quality puzzle packs for you and pay you royalties
  138. for each copy sold.

  141. Zeek the Geek Combination One
  142.  
  143. This package includes the latest versions of Zeek the Geek Part One, Zeek the
  144. Geek Part Two, Zeek the Geek Puzzle Pack One, and Zeek the Geek Puzzle Pack
  145. Two.  That's a total of 105 puzzles and a great value!

  148. Zeek the Geek Combination Two

  150. This package includes everything in Zeek the Geek Combination One plus Zeek
  151. the Geek Puzzle Pack Three and Zeek the Geek Designer. That's a total of 165
  152. puzzles, plus the ability to create more puzzles of your own!

  154. Solutions
  155.  
  156. Solutions are available for all puzzles in the Zeek the Geek Family of
  157. Products. Send $3.00 and a stamped self-addressed envelope to Sidewalk
  158. Software for each game or puzzle pack (Zeek the Geek Part One, Puzzle Pack
  159. Two, etc.) for which you wish to have solutions. The solution sheet for each
  160. product contains solutions to all puzzles in the product. For example, the
  161. solution sheet for Zeek the Geek Part Two contains solutions to all 30 puzzles
  162. in that game.

  164. Zeek the Geek System Requirements
  165.  
  166. The Zeek family of programs each requires a '386 or better processor running
  167. Microsoft Windows version 3.1 or later. A VGA or better display and a mouse
  168. are also required. A sound card with Windows drivers is required for the
  169. music and sound effects. Without a sound card, the game has no music, and
  170. it has very limited sound effects.

  176. Sea Battle
  177.  
  178. Sea Battle is Sidewalk Software's version of the age old paper and pencil
  179. game of two navys engaged in battle at sea. You are in control of one navy
  180. and the computer is in control of the other. Each navy has five warships
  181. hidden in a 10 by 10 grid, and each navy shoots into the grid hoping to hit
  182. one of the opposing navy's ships. You, as commander of one navy, will engage
  183. in battle against the computer, and you must try to sink its navy before it
  184. can sink yours. The game is very user friendly, it has easy to use controls,
  185. and it includes context sensitive help in pop-up windows. If you and a friend
  186. have enjoyed playing a paper and pencil version of this game, you'll love the
  187. fun that you can have with the computer version, and your computer is always
  188. ready for another round play.

  190. Scramble
  191.  
  192. The game of Scramble contains a set of ten puzzles to be solved, and you
  193. can make more puzzles of your own. Each of the puzzles consists of a set of
  194. numbered or lettered tiles arranged into a pattern or phrase, and the
  195. pattern may contain blank tiles that are frozen in place. The pattern
  196. can be scrambled into a state of disarray by the computer, and your
  197. challenge is to move the tiles back into the proper pattern or phrase. You
  198. can move the tiles only one at a time, and only into an empty spot in the
  199. pattern. Start with a small simple puzzle, and progress to the very 
  200. challenging large puzzles.

  206. Time of Day with Reminder Notes
  207.  
  208. Time of Day with Reminder Notes is a DOS utility that displays a friendly
  209. greeting including your name, the time, and date, and it provides a simple
  210. means of displaying date-coded reminder notes when you turn on your computer
  211. or when you request them. Your computer can remind you of holidays, business
  212. meetings, birthdays, etc. You won't forget an appointment again!
  213.  
  214. The program comes with reminder notes for all the major holidays, and it
  215. allows you to quickly and easily define your own personalized reminder notes.
  216. You can enter reminders of birthdays and special occasions, and your computer
  217. will display them to you on the date(s) that you specify. You will get the
  218. reminder you need, just at the time you need it.

  225. ORDER.TXT, or simply include the information on a plain piece of paper.
