  22. Installation is simple!  
  23.  
  24. 1.) Just put all files to any subdirectory.  The program will create some
  25. other files, so it is a good idea to make a separate subdirectory for this
  26. one.

  28. 2.) Check your CONFIG.SYS file and make sure it has a line that looks
  29. something like this (depending on just where ANSI.SYS is and how it's being
  30. loaded) :

  32.            DEVICE=ANSI.SYS  -or-  DEVICEHIGH=C:\DOS\ANSI.SYS
  33.              
  34. 3.) If your CONFIG.SYS does not have such a line, you'll have to add one
  35. using DOS's EDIT program.  When you add the line to the end of CONFIG.SYS,
  36. make sure you give it a path to wherever your copy of ANSI.SYS resides
  37. (similar to the example on the right).

  39. 4.) You're all set now.  Start the program by typing ANCIENTO, no
  40. configuration is needed.  Help is available within the program at any time.
  41. Finally, make sure that before you play the game you find out about our
  42. "High Scores Contest" by running the program called 100BUCKS.COM.
