  1. This disk contains 3 astronomy programs.
  2. Installing each is described in turn.
  3.  
  4. Installing Personal Observing Log
  5.  
  6. 1. Make a directory on the drive you wish to install the program on,
  7.    and change to it.
  8.  
  9.    Eg:   C:
  10.          MD POL
  11.          CD POL
  12.  
  13. 2. From that drive and directory, run the POL program from the floppy
  14.    disk. For example, if the disk is in drive A type:
  15.  
  16.    A:POL
  17.  
  18.    This will unpack the files onto your hard disk.
  19.  
  20. 3. The program is now installed. Type POL to run it.

  22.    To read the documentation:
  23.    TYPE POL.DOC |MORE

  26. Installing Star Plot
  27.  
  28. 1. Make a directory on the drive you wish to install the program on,
  29.    and change to it.
  30.  
  31.    Eg:   C:
  32.          MD SPLOT
  33.          CD SPLOT
  34.  
  35. 2. From that drive and directory, run the SPLOT program from the floppy
  36.    disk. For example, if the disk is in drive A type:
  37.  
  38.    A:SPLOT
  39.  
  40.    This will unpack the files onto your hard disk.

  42. 3. The program is now installed. Type STARPLOT to run it.

  44.    To read the documentation:
  45.    TYPE STARPLOT.DOC |MORE

  47. Installing Sky Draw
  48.  
  49. 1. Make a directory on the drive you wish to install the program on,
  50.    and change to it.
  51.  
  52.    Eg:   C:
  53.          MD SKYD
  54.          CD SKYD
  55.  
  56. 2. From that drive and directory, run the SKYD program from the floppy
  57.    disk. For example, if the disk is in drive A type:
  58.  
  59.    A:SKYD
  60.  
  61.    This will unpack the files onto your hard disk.
  62.  
  63. 3. The program now should be installed. Type SKYINST to install it, and
  64.    follow the onscreen instructions.
  65.  
  66.    Once this is done type SKY to run the main program.
