  1.   The DBase Window will hold any combination of data files you wish.
  2. This window is ideal for keeping all of the sounds and other SysX data
  3. relating to a song or musical set in a single file for easy retrieval.
  4. A DBase Window is opened by choosing 'Open DBase from Disk' from the
  5. 'Tools' Menu. By default, a directory listing is provided to load a data
  6. base from disk. Select CANCEL for a new data base.

  8.   Three icons on the screen will: MIDI - send the currently selected file
  9. out to MIDI; EDIT - load the file into an editing window (if available);
  10. and MIDI.IN - to load the data type currently selected in the Driver List
  11. into the data base. Additional functions are found in the 'Data Base' Menu:
  12.   Load Data From Disk - Move a data file from disk into the data base.
  13.   Save as MIDI File - save the data file to disk as a Standard MIDI file.
  14.   Save Data to Disk - save the selected data file to disk.
  15.   Open SysX View - open a SysX View Window with the selected data file.
  16.   Open Edit - open an Edit Window (if available) with the selected data file.
  17.   Data to Instrument - send the selected data file to MIDI.
  18.   DBase to Instrument - send the entire contents of the data base to MIDI.
  19.   Sort - by Manufacturer, Instrment Type, File Size, Time or File Name

  21. To move a data file between DBases, hold down SHIFT (PC CNTRL) and ALT,
  22. select the data file to move and drag the mouse over the destination DBase
  23. and release the button, the data file will be moved. Use 'Save' or 'Save 
  24. As...' from the Files Menu to save the DBase.
