  6. Installation:

  8.     You don't really need the instructions for that. Just
  9.     unzip/copy PIANO.EXE somewhere on your disk, and add it to
  10.     your favorite program group using Program Manager's File/Add
  11.     command.

  14. Uninstallatoin:

  16.     Are you sure you want to do that? Oh, well... Delete
  17.     PIANO.EXE and PIANO.INI (the last one should be in your
  18.     Windows direcory)

  21. Troubleshooting:

  23.     Piano says something about not beeing able to open MIDI-MAPPER...
  24.  
  25.       Piano wants Midi Mapper all by itself and you have another
  26.       program running which has already reserved Midi Mapper
  27.       for its own purposes. Exit that program and Piano should
  28.       work just fine.
  29.  
  30.  
  31.     Piano says nothing. It draws itself and then disappears...

  33.       What you have is a mutated Piano. Get yourself a new copy
  34.       of PIANO.EXE.
  35.  
  36.  
  37.     Piano starts normally, but there's no sound...
  38.  
  39.       See if your sound card is in order -- try playing
  40.       CANYON.MID with MEDIA PLAYER (both part of Windows). If
  41.       you can't hear that either, there's something wrong with
  42.       your sound card setup; fix it and try Piano again. If this
  43.       is not the case and CANYON.MID plays just fine, you might
  44.       want to check if your MIDI-MAPPER is set to "General MIDI"
  45.       (especially SB users) (Control Panel/Midi Mapper/Setups).
  46.       If it is not, select it and try Piano again. This should
  47.       do the trick.

  49.       Actually what you have to do is to make sure that there is
  50.       a sound-card driver selected at channel 2. (Control
  51.       Panel/Midi Mapper/Setups/Edit: SrcChan=2; PortName=???)
  52.       If it is not, Piano can't work.
